As we age and continue to use more and more technology in our everyday activities, our spine is aging faster and we are losing the spine’s natural curves. This can lead to osteoporosis and arthritis of the neck and upper back, reduce breathing and lung capacity as well as affect the circulation to the heart and brain. Learn poses and practices that help improve mobility, strength, stability and alignment of the neck, shoulders, thoracic and cervical spine and improve the health of the vital organs.

FEE: $36.75 per class or $147 for all four classes
You will require the following props for this class series:
- 2 long belts ( one 8-10 ft. and 1 -6 ft. is fine)
- 1 bolster
- 2 Sturdy chairs
- 2 blankets (more is better if you have)
- 1-2 bricks (foam, cork or wood)
- 1 hand towel (from your linen closet)
- Optional Sandbags if you already have them. A limited amount available to sell from the Yoga North Shop

In this class we will look at practices which help women to manage the stresses of everyday life and the challenges that come with physical and emotional changes as we age. We will explore practices to improve hot flashes, improve sleep, maintain and lift the organic body, improve posture which affects spine and brain/cognitive health. This class is beneficial for all women whether pre, peri, or postmenopausal.
